About Us
Bülbülzade Foundation is a non-governmental organization established in 1994 with the motto of “the reconstruction of the land and the improvement of the generation” as its principle. The Foundation carries out activities in areas such as education, health, culture, arts, sports, food, aid, youth, women, family, environment, volunteering, media, research, development, migration and harmonization, international relations in many parts of Turkey and the world, especially in Gaziantep.
Bülbülzade Foundation, which has touched the lives of thousands of people since its establishment, carries out various projects to meet the needs of refugees as well as supporting them in areas such as education, health, food, shelter, work, profession and social cohesion. In this context, it aims to ensure the integration of refugees into society by providing services such as education, health, psychological counseling, professional competence, entrepreneurship, employment and social cohesion.
Bülbülzade Foundation also continues to contribute to Gaziantep's culture, art, sports and media life. It contributes to the social and cultural development of the city with units such as Katre Art Center, İstikrar Sports Club, Şafak Radio, Ortadoğu Media, BEKAM. The Foundation also carries out youth, women and orphan studies in cooperation with its own stakeholders such as Anatolian Student Union, Mosaic Women's Association, Touch Life Orphan Association.

In addition to Gaziantep, Bülbülzade Foundation carries out joint projects by cooperating with many institutions and organizations at national and international level in many parts of Turkey and the world, and organizes events such as conferences, seminars, symposiums, panels, workshops, congresses, fairs, festivals, competitions, camps, trips, exhibitions, and shows.
The Foundation is the pioneer of a civil and original march in Gaziantep that is sensitive to national and world issues, adopting principles such as volunteerism, independence, transparency and universality. The Foundation has a mission that protects and develops human dignity, tries to spread goodness in all areas of life, and invests in the future of society. In this context, it continues to work to keep the spirit of knowledge, wisdom, service and sacrifice alive in many urban centers of our country. The foundation is always looking for new volunteers, supporters, stakeholders and collaborators and invites them to the foundation's big family.
Gaziantep is an exceptional city that has been an important center of culture and civilization throughout its history. One of the spiritual hosts of this city is Mudarris Bülbülzade Abdullah Edip Efendi. He rose in science with the education he received from various madrasas, became a faculty member at Dar'ul Fünun, and left many works in the fields of education, health and social services in Gaziantep.
