Provincial Mufti Hüseyin Hazırlar and his wife, together with a delegation including the President of the Foundation and the President of the Mosaic Women's Association, visited the Diyanet's Family and Youth Centers. During the meeting, a comprehensive briefing was given on the current status of the centers, their activities and future projects.During the visit, evaluations were made about the projects to be carried out in the future and to ensure that the work carried out by the centers reaches a wider audience.

Bülbülzade Foundation Board of Directors came together on Monday, 25 December. In the meeting held within the scope of "Unit and Commission Meetings", managers of Mosaic Association were hosted. During the meeting, consultations were held on the term works of both organisations.The aim of the meeting was to review the goals and activities of Bülbülzade Foundation and Mosaic Association, to increase the opportunities for cooperation and to work on projects that will provide social benefit.

Bülbülzade Foundation Secondary Education Commission, in cooperation with Touch Life Orphan Association, analysed the film "Truman Show" in Bekam meeting room on Saturday, 23 December. Moderated by Yılmaz Ergen, the event became interactive with the participation of young people. During the film analysis, intense discussions were held on the philosophy and general message of the work.In addition, on the occasion of "World Martyr Children's Day", a press release was organised against the persecution of martyred children and their families in Gaza and called for a global sensitivity to this injustice by drawing the attention of the international community to the tragedies and massacres of innocent children in Palestine.

On 23.12.2023, the first session of this semester's BEKAM focus group interviews was held under the moderation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erhan TUNÇ. The session, which took place with the participation of psychologists, educators and academicians who are experts in their fields, lasted approximately 3 hours.A concept note and reading list were prepared before the workshop and shared with each participant so that they could make preliminary preparations. The program started at 10.00 am and continued continuously until 13.00 pm. Accompanied by the moderator, almost every participant contributed to the process. During the meeting, the scribes took notes of the main points and important emphases in order to prepare a final report.Under the subtitle of "Resilient Society", ideas were exchanged on the issue of "Resilient Individual". Mainly; individual psychology and the positive and negative situations that affect it, how we can be prepared for traumas, how we can overcome these traumatic processes in a healthy way, the impact of family and environment on the healing process.The next session of our successfully concluded program will be held on 13.01.2024 at the same place and time with the title "Resilient Family".

Bülbülzade Foundation, in cooperation with the Japanese International Support Program, opened the Children's Life Center in Murat Sural Container City in Gaziantep with the participation of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Abdullah Aksoy. Since February 6, the foundation, which has been carrying out aid and education activities in the region, has created a special area for children.The Children's Life Center was established to reduce the traumas caused by the earthquake, support education and provide an alternative space for children.Japan Platform Turkey Representative Murat Özcan and Bülbülzade Foundation volunteers attended the opening ceremony. This important initiative was a step towards meeting the educational and psychological support needs of children in the region.

Tafsir Readings, which continue within the scope of Mosaic Thematic Readings Programme, were held on Friday, 22 December under the title of "Body, Appearance and Essence". In the programme, comments on the association of selected verses from Surat al-Tin, Surat al-Sajdah and Surat al-Human with the concept of "Body" were discussed. These comments were enriched with articles from Lacivert Magazine, Yetkin Düşünce Magazine and Bilimevi Kadın Magazine.In the session, Rabia Aldemir's presentation addressed the stereotypes about the body today and the prominence of bodily needs. Aldemir said, "It describes 'Ahseni Takvim' as being equipped with the best qualities as external and internal, material and mental, essence and body, and having the most beautiful form. The bodily needs, impulses and intellectual activities that make up the human personality are an inseparable whole." Aldemir emphasised the complex structure of human beings.Aldemir also discussed the concept of "Kamil human". According to him, a kamil human being is a being who does not reject the characteristics of humanity, who does not set priorities entirely for the soul or the body, and who harbours physical, mental and spiritual integrity in his/her nature.

The Aid Commission within the Bülbülzade Foundation continues to support families in need during the cold winter days.The Commission carried out the winter aid campaign with great devotion and delivered basic necessities such as pallet stoves, pellet fuel and mattresses so that families can spend a warm winter. With these efforts, examples of social solidarity and solidarity are exhibited.We are grateful to the donors for their valuable contributions.

Volunteers from Bülbülzade Foundation, Mozaik Women's Association and AKADDER participated in the "Project Cycle Training" held at Elazığ İpekyolu International Youth and Child Studies Centre between 11-15 December.During the training, "Project Cycle Management" (PCM) training was given by Hüseyin Ali Tangürek and Tuğba Kumral, experts from the Ministry of Labour and Social Security Human Resources Development Programme Authority.At the last stage of the programme, a logical framework matrix was created based on the applied studies and certificates were presented to the participants.

The 'Dress a Child' campaign organized by Bülbülzade Karagöz Aid Coordination Center continues to support families and children in need. Clothing and hygiene materials are regularly provided to families every month.
