The Board of Directors of Bülbülzade Education, Health and Solidarity Foundation continues its end-of-term evaluations with the commissions and units affiliated to the foundation. In this context, BEKAM (Science Education Culture Research Center) Management was also a guest of Bülbülzade Foundation.At the meeting, BEKAM Management presented various activities such as focus group meetings, project studies and training activities carried out during the summer period to the Bülbülzade Foundation Board of Directors. In addition, detailed information was given about the activities planned by BEKAM for the next year.

Gaziantep İstikrar Education Youth and Sports Club's junior boys' volleyball team will represent Gaziantep in the Turkish finals in Tokat. Preparing with great determination and determination, our team will take the field to represent our city in the best way possible in this prestigious tournament.Thanks to the intensive training program and the meticulous work of our coaches, our team was entitled to participate in the finals by exhibiting a superior performance in the regional qualifiers.We believe that our athletes will achieve great gains both in terms of sports and personal development in this important tournament. In addition, we will continue to encourage our young people to lead a life intertwined with sports through such organizations.

With intensive preparations, planning and meetings that started months in advance, our spring festival, which we realised with the labour of hundreds of volunteers in more than 30 departments, has come to an end this year.For more than 30 years, we thank all our friends who came from far and near to our traditional spring festival.We spent 4 full days with our families, relatives and friends. The traditional Spring Festival, which we organise every year with great excitement as Bülbülzade Foundation, was the scene of moments full of enthusiasm and peace this year. Our four-day event was enriched with sales at the stands opened by the units of our foundation and various interviews. Our Spring Festival hosted the social and cultural activities of our foundation and provided unforgettable moments for the visitors. Events and Talks During the festival, our foundation's Mosaic, Migration, Islahiye Earthquake Zone, Eke, Touch Life Orphan, Project, Media, Istiqrar Sports Club, Katre Art and Science Centre and Pusula Bookstore opened stands to promote their units and sell various products. While the visitors were informed about the activities of our foundation at these stands, they also had the opportunity to purchase valuable handmade products. In addition, expert speakers shared their knowledge and experiences in various interviews organised during the event. These talks provided the participants with new perspectives and increased social and cultural enrichment. Fun Activities for Children With the contributions of Bülbülzade Foundation's Eke unit and Project unit, we organised many activities for our children to have a joyful and fun time. Face painting, handicraft workshops, playgrounds and various competitions for children provided the little ones with pleasant moments. These activities also allowed families to spend quality time with their children. Gastronomy and Local Products In our Spring Festival, distinguished examples of gastronomy were also presented to our visitors. At the stands with local products and dessert varieties, the participants had the opportunity to taste the flavours that appealed to their taste buds. In our festival, where traditional tastes as well as modern flavours were presented, visitors went on a journey of flavour. Local products were carefully prepared and presented to the participants with the support of the volunteer women of our foundation and orphan mothers within the Touch Life Orphan Unit. Anatolian Federation Teacher Unit Meeting There was a meeting of the Anatolian Federation Teacher Unit management at our festival. . In this meeting, the work carried out in the field of education was evaluated and strategies for the next period were determined. The meeting encouraged the sharing of knowledge and experience among our teachers and contributed to the creation of a common vision. Joint Future Meeting One of the meetings organised within the scope of our Spring Festival was the Common Future Meeting held with Syrian Opinion Leaders of our city. In this meeting, participants from various fields came together and evaluated future plans and cooperation opportunities. The meeting enabled the participants to exchange ideas and develop joint projects. Moments of Peace and Happiness Bülbülzade Foundation Spring Festival, which lasted for four days in total, hosted moments full of peace and happiness. During the festival, the participants had the opportunity to mingle with each other and have a pleasant time. Members and volunteers of the Association for Women's Rights Against Discrimination (AKDER) gave Hygiene and Women's Health Training at Bülbülzade Foundation İslahiye Biçki Sewing Workshop.On Thursday, May 23, Hygiene and Women's Health Training was given by expert doctors consisting of AKDER members and volunteers with the participants of the Biçki and Sewing workshop, which continues its activities in Islahiye.Protection of women's health in collective living spaces, preventive methods against home-container accidents, exercises against back and neck pain were on the agenda of the training.

The Read and Comment Project 2nd Period camp was held in Osmaniye Aslantaş Youth Campground between May 24-26. During the camp process; topics in the context of reading such as reading adventure, intellectual readings were discussed by invited speakers. An introductory event was held on the first day of the camp. On the second day of the camp, mainly selected topics were covered and invited speakers made their presentations.The program started by reading the translation of Surah Asr. Afterwards, Cevat Bal, Board Member of Anatolian Federation, Nesrin Karataş, Board Member of Ilsan-Der, and Muhammed Şamil Kılıçparlar, President of AÖB, made their greeting speeches. He thanked the participants of the Read and Comment Project for their contribution to the project and their participation in the camp. Provincial Director of Youth Services Kadir Dündar conveyed the greetings of Osmaniye Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Yusuf Çebi to the participants.Turgay Aldemir, in his speech titled “The Process of Building with Knowledge: Reading and Action in Civil Society”, emphasized the concept of reading and shared his own experiences about the adventure of reading. Aldemir continued his speech with quotes from important writers and thinkers such as Sadettin Ökten and İbrahim Kalın. Touching on his experiences during his time in Gaza and Mecca, he concluded his speech with the following words: “The most basic concept that will emerge in intellectualism is ‘life’. Everything must meet with life so that it can come alive and exist. As the hadith says, read little but often and continuously, it should be regular. Change when you get bored and read in different fields. Apart from reading in many fields, I read novels when I get bored. Do so.”Mahsum Aytepe in his speech; “The Power of Ideas: Multicultural Life License” in his speech. Aytepe, who especially touched upon the concept of being amazed, said, “Being amazed and admired is one of the most special talents of human beings. Trying to ask what is not asked is the greatest virtue to ask what is different. Asking what no one asks when no one asks, requires others to think about it.”In her speech, Hale Bayırbaş made a speech titled “The Basics of Critical Reading”. Bayırbaş emphasized the importance of critical reading, what we should pay attention to in the way we access the sources, which filters we should pass the source used to know the author's world of meaning.On the last day of the program, a fun and productive time was spent by playing a taboo game where books were at the center and the winning group was presented with book gifts. The camp program ended after a collective photo shoot.

Turkey Technology Team (T3) Foundation President Elvan Hıdır Kuzucu, members of the board of directors and the accompanying team visited our foundation.During the visit, information was given about the activities and studies we carry out as Bülbülzade Foundation. In addition, DENEYAP workshops in Gaziantep and Syrian regions were discussed. Consultations were held about the regions and activities.After the information given about the member organizations, cultural centers, workshops and commissions within Bülbülzade Foundation, opinions were exchanged about the joint activities that can be carried out.

Tafsir readings organized by the Mosaic Women's Association within the scope of the Thematic Readings Program continue.On Saturday, May 24, in the program held at the Bülbülzade Foundation Center, the topic of “Culture of Ambiguity” was discussed by Rabia Aldemir, President of the Mosaic Association, within the framework of Surah Zumar 23 and Surah Ali Imran 7.In the program, which has been continuing regularly since September, the contributions of the participants discussed the difference between ambiguity and ambiguity, the multiple narration of truth, and the culture of ambiguity in society.
