As Bülbülzade Foundation, we have been providing clothes and food parcels to thousands of children and families in need since 1994. Our ‘Dress Another Child’ project, which we carry out regularly every month, continues.Our aid unit offers our families and children the opportunity to buy clothes in a store environment in the Clothing Store of our foundation.We would like to thank our valuable donors for their great contributions in providing this opportunity.

Since February 6, Bülbülzade Foundation, which has been providing various trainings and activities for children and adults in the earthquake zone, continues to raise hopes with the summer schools that started on July 2 at the Child Life Centers in İslahiye and Nurdağı. The summer schools, organized with university students from all over Turkey, offer educational and entertaining activities for children.The summer schools will continue until August 2, during which time children will have the opportunity to both learn and have fun. After the summer schools, trainings and activities in the earthquake zone will continue throughout the year at the Children's Life Centers and Sewing Workshops. Bülbülzade Foundation continues to touch the lives of children and adults in the earthquake-affected region, giving them hope and support.

Bülbülzade Foundation Family Camp was held on July 20-21 at Erikçe Adventure Campground with the participation of volunteer families.On the first day, after the entrance to the camp and group arrangements, the rules of acquaintance were explained, tent installation training was given, tents were set up and wood collection was carried out.After lunch, which was eaten together, activities started in the campground. After the fun and beautiful moments of activities such as climbing, archery, educational games, zipline, darts and cargo net, dinner was served.The first day ended with conversations and chats around the campfire lit in the campsite where the tents were set up.On the second day, after waking up in the morning, morning sports and nature walks were organized. After breakfast, the families packed their tents and returned home.The family camp, which is organized for families to get to know each other and get to know each other closely, will continue with new camps in the future.

The Youth Work Camp, hosted by MFS Emmaus, which is active in the fields of humanitarian aid, education, youth and health in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is being held between 14 July-25 July 2024. The camp, which was attended by 7 young volunteers from Bülbülzade Foundation and Anadolu Student Union, aims to help the construction of a campground for young people in the Pale region of Srebrenica.In the camp, which started with the opening speech of Nermin Alivuković, President of the Association of Srebrenica Mothers, young volunteers support the construction work while participating in cultural activities. Young people from different countries such as Turkey, Belgium, France, Serbia and Bosnia have the opportunity to cooperate with each other and have cultural exchanges.On July 25, the camp will end with a film festival called Silver Frame. They also organized trips to the history of the Srebrenica massacre and visited the mothers of the martyrs who lost their lives in this painful event. In the last days of the camp, a trip to Sarajevo will be organized and the young people will have the opportunity to explore other historical and cultural sites of Bosnia and Herzegovina.The youth work camp, which is attended by nearly 70 young people from different countries and cultures, increases the social awareness of young people and enables them to establish international friendships.

Gaziantep Anatolian Student Union organized a debate event at Pusula Kitap Kahve on Wednesday, July 17th. In the debate, which was the second event organized by the Anatolian Student Union within the scope of the summer programs, discussions were held under the title “Should universities be privatized or not?”.In the event, the group arguing that universities should be privatized and the group arguing that they should not be privatized faced each other. In the contentious debate, both sides presented strong theses and antitheses and defended their views. At the end of the debate, the group arguing that universities should be privatized emerged victorious.

The evaluation meeting with the parents of our Summer School students was held with an intense participation. Board Member Nuray İnce, Board Member Bozan İnce, volunteer educators and parents attended the meeting.During the meeting, Nuray İnce and Bozan İnce gave detailed information to the parents about the activities carried out by the association, the activities planned throughout the year and how the Summer School will continue. In addition to the contributions of the Summer School to the academic and social development of students, information was also given about the content of the program, which is enriched with various activities.

Bülbülzade Foundation Secondary Education Commission organized a bicycle tour event for students on Wednesday, July 17th within the scope of summer activities. The event was led and supervised by İbrahim Kılıç, President of Gaziantep Cyclists Association.Kılıç gave important information to the students about safety and attention in traffic and distributed phosphorescent vests to each of them to ensure their safety throughout the event. In this way, the students became more visible in traffic while cycling and acted in accordance with traffic rules.The event, which emphasized traffic rules and etiquette, attracted great interest from the students.

An important parent meeting was held within the scope of summer school in our Anatolian Culture Centers operating in safe regions. In the second week of the summer schools organized in Azaz, Jarabulus, Afrin and Elbab Anatolian Cultural Centers, we came together with the parents of the students receiving education in our centers.In the meeting, the development processes of the students, the contributions of the Anatolian Cultural Centers to the region and the effects of the recent social events on the region were discussed. Parents showed great interest in the meeting in order to observe the contributions to their children's education and development and to be more involved in the education process.The parents expressed their satisfaction with the educational opportunities offered by the Anatolian Cultural Centers and stated that it would be useful to hold such meetings regularly. The parents were also informed about the activities and projects to be carried out during the summer school.
