Provincial Director of Migration Mehmet Erkoç visited our foundation president. During the visit, information was given about the actual and ongoing activities of our foundation.During the meeting, the latest situation of Syrians in Turkey and Gaziantep was discussed. Consultations were held on harmonization programs and future joint meetings.

With the participation of the members of the units and associations operating within Bülbülzade Foundation, an In-Service Training program was held at the foundation headquarters at the beginning of the new academic season.The program started with the statements and greetings of the moderators. Nurettin Yener, a member of the foundation's trades unit, gave information about recording the work of the new semester, processing it into forms and preparations for the annual activity plan. Turgay Aldemir, the president of the foundation, then gave information about the active activities and operations.Turgay Aldemir gave information about the activities carried out in the summer season, the Anatolian Cultural Centers in safe regions, the work in İslahiye Earthquake Zone, İstikrar Sports Hall, Katre Science and Art Center and Ortadoğu Media. He also shared details about the new semester education and teacher activities. He also shared information about the congress center and forestry works that are about to be completed.In the rest of the program, each unit and association responsible gave information about their work and presented their ideas about the projects that can be done in the new period. The program ended with valuable suggestions and wishes.

White Helmets Association Coordinator Amer Haj Omar, Deputy Coordinator Mohammed Shushan, Public Relations Officer Mohammed Basil Kırşan visited the President of the Foundation Turgay Aldemir. During the visit, detailed information was given about the actual and ongoing activities of our foundation.During the meeting, joint activities that can be carried out in safe areas of Syria and in Turkey were discussed. The activities carried out in the Anatolian Cultural Centers in Syria were evaluated. Consultations were held on activities and studies that can be carried out jointly.

Turgay Aldemir, President of Bülbülzade Foundation, held an evaluation meeting with the Ortadoğu Medya team. In the meeting, in addition to the current order and functioning, the situation assessment of media strategies was made and plans for the future were discussed.A general consultation was held about the activities related to the Anatolian Federation 18th Anatolian Meetings, which was one of the important agenda items of the meeting.Ortadoğu Media team exchanged ideas with Turgay Aldemir to increase the effectiveness of media activities and to create a strong communication strategy for future projects.

Syrian Opinion Leaders Mahmut Adil Badincki and Zekariya Malahifci visited the President of the Foundation Turgay Aldemir. During the visit, detailed information was given about the actual and ongoing activities of our foundation.During the meeting, the situation of Syrian refugees from the recent past to the present was discussed. Consultations were held on the activities and studies that can be carried out jointly.

18th Anatolian Gatherings was held in Ankara Kızılcahamam Eliz Hotel between August 26 - 30, 2024. Day 1 of the Anatolian Meetings started with greetings and opening speeches. Various speakers made presentations and speeches throughout the program. As part of the 18th Anatolian Meetings, various events and meetings were organized.The Student Assembly meeting started with the opening speech of Şamil Kılıçparlar. After the introduction process, the participants were informed about the mission and vision of the Anatolian Student Union. Gazi Kılıçparlar emphasized the importance of adapting and accepting change in a changing world and reminded the traditional value of Anatolian Meetings. Turgay Aldemir drew attention to the responsibilities of young people by discussing the concept of “human degradation”. Mustafa Sefa Çakır, in his speech on “Being Present at University”, emphasized the important points in the competencies of university students, foreign language learning, undergraduate graduation score and reading habits, and touched upon the preparation processes for the future. After the speech, a question and answer session was held with the participants.On the other hand, educators from foundations and associations affiliated to the Anatolian Federation attended the meeting organized by the Teacher Unit as part of the Anatolian Meetings. During the meeting, ideas were exchanged about the educational activities carried out throughout the year. Turgay Aldemir, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Anatolian Federation, wished the educators success.The Secondary Education High School Commission organized a meeting event with high school students, followed by a Jerusalem poetry workshop. Young people wrote their poems by searching for an answer to the question “What kind of poem would you write if you were a child in Jerusalem?”.In addition, Akadder's organizational meeting was held on Tuesday, August 27 in Kızılcahamam, Ankara. At the meeting, the participants of Anatolian Meetings and the agenda topics of Akadder special sessions were discussed. On the same day, at the Akadder acquaintance meeting moderated by Gülistan Keleş, participants from various regions of Anatolia shared information about their fields of work and good practices.

Turgay Aldemir, President of the Anatolian Federation, started the Opening Seminar by mentioning the concept of “Human Decay”. He emphasized that this concept is of great importance in social and individual terms. He reminded Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar's words “When man is corrupted, there is no remedy for it” and stated that there is no compensation for human corruption and that it is extremely difficult to correct this situation. He stated that as humanity, we should strive to protect our social and individual values.Turgay Aldemir emphasized that the problems we face in today's world are not only local but also global. He said that our efforts to protect our borders are insufficient in the face of global problems. He said, “The cry of humanity has reached to the heavens”. He stated that despite the intense flow of information we experience in the age of communication, these cries are not sufficiently heard and ignored.Aldemir stated that we cannot find solutions to global problems by turning a deaf ear or ignoring them. Stating that the children of Satan and the children of Adam are facing each other, he said that this opposition is a great test of humanity. He emphasized that taking an effective stance against the global invasion is not only the responsibility of individuals, but also the common responsibility of societies and states.He noted that NGOs, government agencies and communities around the world that we can connect with play important roles in this struggle. These organizations have a high capacity to produce solutions to problems and can support people in building a stronger society.He stated that materialist approaches and globalist groups are trying to redefine human beings by mechanizing them and removing them from their ontological origins. He stated that these processes have rendered human beings worthless by removing them from the title of “equal creation” and distanced them from the values of humanity. He said that such a transformation weakens the social ties and familial values of human beings and makes them vulnerable to genocide and attacks.Turgay Aldemir said, “We need to build a new world against this global bankruptcy and this world is slowly being built.” He emphasized that innovative approaches should be developed at the social and individual level. He stated that each individual, as a community and as a nation, should be at the head of this founding table and should feel self-confidence and responsibility in his heart.He stated that the understanding of philanthropy needs to change and that a broader and more inclusive perspective should be adopted in the understanding of social aid. He also emphasized that the development of NGOs in the fields of arts and culture is essential; these fields are critical for social development and individual maturation.    He stated that the pollution of information and the damage to this information by people who talk about everything is a problem. He stated that if we want to capture time in the right way, we must first understand how time is lost. In this context, he emphasized the importance of raising awareness and fulfilling human duties.Aldemir stated that morality is the most fundamental value inherent in human nature and that being moral means taking responsibility. He emphasized that migrants should not only be looked at as weak individuals to be helped, but that the most valuable thing that will come to the rescue of humanity is new and different perspectives. He stated that migrants play an important role in terms of contributing to society and offering different perspectives. He then concluded his speech with a quote from Surah Al-Baqarah.
