The Bülbülzade Foundation Secondary Education Commission organized a comprehensive two-day holiday camp for high school students on November 13–14. Throughout the camp, various seminars and training sessions were offered to the students.The camp began with a presentation by Gaziantep Red Crescent Provincial Women’s Branch President Zemzem Çetin titled “Our Values in Family and Social Life,” in which she explained to young people the importance of value awareness. This was followed by psychological counselor Neslihan Sever, who drew attention to the risks encountered in the digital world with her presentation on “Cyberbullying.” Lastly, Bülbülzade Foundation Director Zeynel Kaplan delivered a “Discover Yourself” training session aimed at enhancing students’ personal awareness.In addition to the trainings, students conducted workshop activities by discussing sample cases encountered in family and digital life through the method of empathy cards. During the volleyball tournament organized with the support of İstiklal Sports Club, students both competed and enjoyed their time. Students also prepared handmade chocolate in the kitchen workshop. At the end of the program, a quiz covering all the content studied throughout the camp was held, and various awards were presented to the students who ranked the highest.We congratulate all students who successfully completed the camp and thank the parents and contributors for their support.

A book analysis program of the book titled “Şule Yüksel Şenler” by the author Demet Tezcan was held on Saturday, November 15, by the Mosaic Women and Family Association.The program, moderated by Fatma Temizer, was also attended by the author of the work, Demet Tezcan. The event, organized in the conference hall of Zade Life Hotel, attracted great interest from many book lovers as well as volunteers of the Bülbülzade Foundation. The book analysis concluded with questions from the participants, evaluations made, and the signing of readers’ books.

The international youth workers’ mobility program themed “Civil Responsibility and New Methods in Youth Work”, organized within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA151 project carried out by Bülbülzade Association and supported by the Turkish National Agency, has started in Novi Pazar, Serbia.Organized in cooperation with the Bülbülzade Association and the Novi Pazar Turkish Cultural Center (TKM), the five-day program takes place between November 10–14, 2025, with the participation of 25 youth workers from Turkey and Serbia.The project aims to strengthen young people's sense of social responsibility and to develop new methods in youth work, while also seeking to enhance participants’ knowledge and awareness, obtain concrete outcomes based on observation, and improve cooperation opportunities between the two countries.Within the scope of the program, participants will visit the Novi Pazar Turkish Cultural Center, the Bosniak Council, the Consulate General of Novi Pazar, as well as historical and cultural sites of Serbia. During the five-day period, various workshops, seminars, field observations, and cultural studies will be held.

The international youth mobility program themed “Youth Social Participation in Post-Normal Times,” organized within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA151 project carried out by the Bülbülzade Association and supported by the Turkish National Agency, has begun in Gaziantep.The five-day program, taking place from November 10–14, 2025, brings together a total of 45 young participants from Turkey, Germany, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Lithuania, Hungary, Jordan, and Syria.Hosted by the Bülbülzade Association and the Bülbülzade Foundation, the event includes partner organizations such as the US Academiker Platform (USAP) from Germany, New Horizon from Belgium, Bildung Nijmegen from the Netherlands, IFS Emmaus from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Tavo Europa from Lithuania.Throughout the event, young participants will explore ways to enhance their active involvement in social life. The program aims to strengthen young people’s abilities in social participation, engagement in democratic processes, and generating solutions to societal challenges.Moreover, participants will collaborate with peers from different countries to develop creative solutions to the challenges faced in post-normal times and become role models who make a positive impact within their own communities.During the program, participants will visit the Gaziantep Solid Waste Facility and the city’s historical and cultural sites. Additionally, a tree planting activity will be held at the Bülbülzade Foundation’s Liberation Forest.This five-day mobility activity aims to raise environmental awareness among young people and encourage them to become environmentally conscious individuals.

The Secondary Education Commission of the Bülbülzade Foundation organized a nature walk for middle school, high school, and university entrance exam preparation students.The walk took place in a forested area in the Nurdağı district and was attended by male and female students as well as educators from various neighborhoods of the city. The event was organized to raise students’ environmental awareness and to allow them to enjoy physical activity in nature. After the walk, the participants visited the Tomb of Ukkaşe Hazretleri, located in the same area. The tomb, which had been closed to visitors for some time due to damage sustained during the February 6 earthquakes, was reopened to the public by the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality. Following the prayer held at the tomb, Secondary Education Commission member and educator Nesibe Aşkar briefly spoke about the life of Ukkaşe Hazretleri, the efforts of the Companions who spread across the world to convey the message of Islam, and the mission they undertook.After the talk, the Bülbülzade Foundation Earthquake Zone Coordinator and President of the Gaziantep Branch of the Turkish Red Crescent Women’s Division, Zemzem Çetin, provided students with brief information about the institutional structure and activities of the Red Crescent. The event concluded with a group photo taken after lunch.We congratulate our students who participated in the nature walk and extend our sincere thanks to the parents for their support.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the İlim Hikmet Foundation operating in Kayseri, Erdal Ergenç, and the accompanying delegation visited the Bülbülzade Foundation. During the visit, the delegation met with the Foundation President Turgay Aldemir, foundation management, and organization members, and closely examined the activities of the Bülbülzade Foundation.During the visit, information was shared about the educational, sports, cultural, artistic, migration, and academic activities carried out by the Bülbülzade Foundation in Gaziantep, as well as the efforts undertaken in the Nurdağı and İslahiye regions since the first day of the earthquake.The delegation first visited the Katre Art and Science Center operating under the foundation and observed the artistic works on site. Then, they toured the İstikrar Sports Club within the foundation and observed the club’s sports activities. Afterwards, the delegation visited the Middle East Media Communication Center and Şafak Radio, where they were informed about the foundation’s media-related activities. Finally, the delegation visited the Bülbülzade Karagöz Aid Coordination Center and received information about the foundation’s humanitarian aid efforts.

Turgay Aldemir, President of the Bülbülzade Foundation, Mustafa Hüseyin, President of the Gaziantep Syrian Community, Mehmet Ali Eminoğlu, President of the Bekam Association, and members of the Bülbülzade Foundation Board of Directors visited the newly completed Aleppo Anatolian Cultural Center and the Bülbülzade Foundation Aleppo Liaison Office.During the visit, the delegation examined on-site the completed Aleppo Anatolian Cultural Center, which will soon open for educational activities, and received information about the current status of the project. Afterwards, the delegation visited the Bülbülzade Foundation Aleppo Liaison Office, where they held discussions about the ongoing cultural activities in Aleppo and the current situation of the city.

Governor of Gaziantep, Kemal Çeber, visited Pusula Bookstore as part of a program organized with the participation of Gaziantep University students. In addition to the university students, Bülbülzade Foundation ESC Volunteers and members of the Anatolian Student Community also took part in the program.Meeting with the youth, Governor Çeber emphasized the unifying power of books and the importance of reading, engaging in a sincere conversation with the students. In his speech, Governor Çeber touched upon the historical and cultural richness of Gaziantep, noting that the city hosts 22 museums. Emphasizing that young people should appreciate the value of their country and city, Çeber also listened with interest to the students’ initiatives such as the “Brotherhood Table,” Erasmus projects, the “I Read” project study groups, and the activities of the Anatolian Student Union.

President of Bülbülzade Foundation Turgay Aldemir, President of the Gaziantep Syrian Community Mustafa Hussein, President of Bekam Association Mehmet Ali Eminoğlu, and members of the Bülbülzade Foundation Board of Directors visited the Azez Anatolian Cultural Center.Within the framework of educational, cultural, and artistic activities, the visit to the Cultural Center located in Syria included discussions with the Director of Azez Anatolian Cultural Center, Mohammed Eyup, on the active functioning of cultural centers, ongoing projects, educational processes, and the situation of educators and students involved in these processes. It was stated that various training programs and activities are carried out in these centers in order to reduce the effects of post-war crises and to provide psychological support.During the visit, classrooms, workshops, and courses were toured, and one-on-one meetings were held with teachers and students. Ideas were exchanged with teachers on the topic of culture. The teachers expressed that this Cultural Center is like the lungs of Azez, and despite the ongoing war, people find relief here through art and painting. Additionally, developments regarding the situation of the city of Azez before and after the revolution were discussed.At the end of the visit, the teachers of the Cultural Center presented a painting they produced in the art workshop as a gift, expressing their gratitude for the contributions made to the city of Azez and the opportunities provided by the center. Furthermore, a plaque of appreciation was presented to Mohammed Eyup, Director of Azez Anatolian Cultural Center, for his contributions to the Bülbülzade Foundation, Anatolian Cultural Centers, and the Aleppo Liaison Office.
