The 8th International Al Sharq Youth Conference was held at Gaziantep Şahinbey Congress and Culture Center with the theme “Beyond Borders - A New Order”.The conference brought together academics, policy makers and young people and consisted of sessions where different perspectives on the world order were presented. The focus of the event was on the concerns of young people due to their distrust of the existing economic, political and social structures on a global scale and the populist approaches emerging in this context.The program aimed to address the unique risks faced by young people and provided a platform for discussion. The conference brought together young people, thinkers, academics and policymakers to discuss current issues of the world order.

At our booth within the scope of ErasmusDays 2024, we organized fun and educational activities with brain teasers such as chess and rubik's cube led by our ESC volunteers, as well as creative activities where children colored the words “Erasmus+ Days” written on a large white cloth with finger paints. Children and families also had fun with face painting activities. During the event, young people were informed about Erasmus+ projects and ESC volunteering opportunities.As Bülbülzade Foundation, we carry out various projects that support our youth to be more active in international platforms. Through our Erasmus+ and ESC projects, we offer our young people unique experiences and opportunities abroad, while through our ESC projects, we contribute to their personal and professional development by both hosting young volunteers from abroad and sending our own young people abroad.With these opportunities, we continue to encourage our young people to explore Europe, experience cultural interaction and gain international experiences!@ulusalajans 

The president of the Istanbul-based Arakan Humanitarian Relief Association and its Education, Media and Aid officers visited our foundation.During the meeting, information was received about the activities of the Arakan Humanitarian Aid Association for students. They were also informed about the educational activities carried out by Bülbülzade Foundation. The association stated that there are 250 Arakanese students in Turkey and that they are working with these students in many areas such as intensive leadership training, art and culture trainings.It was stated that Arakan has a population of 5 million, 4.5 million of this population live as refugees around the world, while the remaining 500,000 people continue their lives as refugees in camps in Arakan.After the meetings, the delegation had the opportunity to visit the Art Center, Sports Center and Middle East Media areas in the Bülbülzade Foundation complex and see the works on site.

Bülbülzade Foundation, Migrant Services Center and Gaziantep Syrian Community organized a meeting with Syrian journalists and media members. The meeting was chaired by Remzi Yılmaz, coordinator of Migrant Services Center and Mustafa Hüseyin, president of Gaziantep Syrian Community.Representatives from 14 different organizations attended the meeting and exchanged views on issues related to migrants and journalists. Each of the participants expressed their opinions and solutions were discussed. Issues related to international and local media coverage, travel permits, work permits and residency were discussed.

Within the framework of Bülbülzade Foundation's educational, cultural and artistic activities, a delegation from the Foundation's Migration Unit visited the Al Bab and Jarablus Anatolian Cultural Centers located in safe regions.During the visit, the active functioning of the cultural centers, the activities carried out, the educational processes and the situation of the educators and students involved in these processes were discussed. In addition, classes were visited and one-to-one meetings were held with teachers and students.The centers continue their educational and various activities without interruption. Bülbülzade Foundation officials stated that such visits contribute to the development of the centers and prepare the ground for strengthening cooperation.

Touch Life Orphan Association organized a full event for children at Bülbülzade Foundation Kurtuluş Forest.The children's event included face painting, sack races and various games. In addition, saplings were planted with high school students to leave a trace in the Kurtuluş Forest.We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the organization of the children's event.

The meetings of the Education and Teacher Unit operating within the Bülbülzade Foundation continue.In the meeting; Bekam Focus Group meetings, thematic reading lists, children's books reading groups, concept sets and book analysis agendas were discussed.The Education and Teacher Unit will continue its sessions with specific agendas and topics throughout the semester.

The second lesson of Mozaik Family and Women's Association Tafsir Readings was held on Friday, October 18, 2024, hosted by Bülbülzade Foundation.The Tafsir Lesson was held with the subtitle “Surah Asr”. In the lesson; “In absolute terms, how can man get rid of it if he is in waste and corruption? How do we use time, which is very important for us? With which of our works and deeds do we realize the importance of our existence? With which of our deeds can we stop deterioration or get rid of waste? Which of our deeds cause corruption?” Ideas and thoughts on the topics were discussed.The next Tafsir class will be held on Friday, November 01, 2024 with the title “Social Corruption, Social Decay”.

Ministry of Youth and Sports Gaziantep Provincial Director Mustafa Ertunç, Gaziantep Şehitkamil Municipality Sports Club President and Gaziantep Şehitkamil Municipality Sports Club Football Director visited our foundation.The guest delegation, who made a program on Şafak Radio, which is under the body of our foundation, then visited our foundation president.During the meeting, information was shared about the activities of the Provincial Directorate of Youth Sports and Şehitkamil Municipality Sports Club. In addition, information about Istikrar Sports Club, which is within the body of our foundation, was shared.Consultations were made about the work that can be done together.

Anatolian Students' Union organized the acquaintance breakfast called “One Breakfast Endless Acquaintance” at Gaziantep University Youth Center.In the program, the participants were informed about the duties and responsibilities of the Anatolian Student Union, the activities carried out in the past and the activities planned in the new period. The event was organized for students to meet and establish new ties.The breakfast program ended with a recital of kanun and saz.
