Activities and events organized by Bülbülzade Foundation Earthquake Region Coordinatorship this week;“Digital Education Support for Women”“Digital My Business” training was organized in cooperation with Bülbülzade Foundation Earthquake Region Coordinatorship, Nurdağı Public Education Center and Vodafone. The training program for women affected by the earthquake enables them to expand their employment opportunities and participate more actively in economic life by increasing their digital skills.Within the scope of the training program, trainings such as basic computer usage, digital marketing, e-commerce, social media management, online entrepreneurship were provided to enable women to be more effective in the digital world.“Sewing Workshops”Necessary materials were provided for Islahiye and Nurdağı Sewing and Cutting Workshops.“Child Life Centers”At Nurdağı Nur 1C Child Life Center, children and young people came together for iftar.

Bülbülzade Foundation and Mozaik Women and Family Association organized an iftar program hosted by Bülbülzade Foundation for girls staying at Gazi Children's Homes Site within the scope of Gaziantep Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services on Thursday, March 13. Gaziantep Family and Social Policies Children Services Director, Gazi Children's Homes Director, members and volunteers of Mosaic Association and Bülbülzade Foundation participated in the program.The iftar program started with the greeting speech of Rabia Aldemir, President of Mosaic Association. After the iftar meal, the evening prayer was performed as a congregation. The performance team from Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality performed the Hacivat Karagöz play.The program ended with the “Tree of Values” activity organized by a team of psychologists and psychological counselors.

Gaziantep Anatolian Student Union held its traditional iftar program within the scope of Ramadan on Wednesday, March 12, hosted by Bülbülzade Foundation. Members and volunteers of Anatolian Student Union, Bülbülzade Foundation, Mosaic Association, BEKAM and Touch Life Orphan Association and students from various universities participated in the program.The iftar program started with the recitation of the Quran. After the iftar, Turgay Aldemir, President of Bülbülzade Foundation, made his greeting speech. After the recitation of the Holy Quran by Celal Er, a music and kanun recital was performed by the students of the Anatolian Student Union.The traditional iftar program ended after the collective photo shoot.

Bülbülzade Foundation organized a special iftar program for children with down syndrome in Aleppo through the Aleppo Liaison Office of the foundation within the scope of Syria-Migration activities in Syria and Turkey and Ramadan. The program was attended by the head of the local council, representatives of various non-governmental organizations and volunteers.Turgay Aldemir, the president of the foundation, delivered the greeting speech at the iftar program and expressed his satisfaction that Aleppo is hosting such an important organization with its air, water and soil, which has recently become beautiful again. Turgay Aldemir stated that it was a source of great pride to have iftar with our brothers and sisters with Down Syndrome and to be in Aleppo during Ramadan and wished to meet in these beautiful environments for many more Ramadans.The iftar program ended after the competitions and gift distribution.

Hayata Dokun Orphan Association held the second of its traditional iftar programs within the scope of Ramadan on Tuesday, March 11, hosted by Bülbülzade Foundation. The program was attended by children and their families, members and volunteers of Bülbülzade Foundation, Mosaic Association, BEKAM and Touch Life Orphan Association.The program started with a prayer by our students before iftar. After iftar, a children's concert was organized and a fun show for the children. Flowers were distributed as gifts to the participating mothers.The iftar program ended with a face painting activity for children.

“Migration Services Center” protocol signed between Gaziantep Governorship, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality and Bülbülzade Foundation.In 2021, the protocol signed between the Governorship of Gaziantep, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality and Bülbülzade Foundation for the establishment of a “Migrant Services Center” was extended with new processes regarding the situation of migration and migrants in the city.Within the scope of the protocol signed by Gaziantep Governor Kemal Çeber, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin and Bülbülzade Foundation President Turgay Aldemir, the “Migration Services Center” will continue its work on migrants and migration management processes of the city in order to contribute to strengthening the capacity of local governments in migration management.  The Center will carry out activities for information, improvement and coordination focused on safe return; counseling and guidance services for migrants; and activities, training and cooperation activities to support social cohesion.

As Bülbülzade Foundation, we have been providing clothing aid to thousands of children and families in need every year since 1994. Through the Aid Unit of our Foundation, families and children in need can choose and buy their clothes in a shopping store environment.  Within the scope of the Ramadan month “Dress a Child” campaign, we will provide holiday clothes to children and families in need until Saturday, March 22nd.The campaign is supported by volunteers from Bülbülzade Foundation, Mozaik Women's Association and Anadolu Student Union. Children who come to the Clothing Store participate in activities and children's games organized by our volunteers.We would like to thank all our volunteers who contributed to the “Dress a Child” campaign and our valuable supporters who donated.

Bülbülzade Foundation's Aleppo Liaison Office continues to organize sessions with opinion leaders, local artists and writers. In this context, a meeting was organized with writers and artists who live in Aleppo and have taken an active role in various Syrian agendas.The artists expressed that they have been working individually for a long time and are preparing to contribute to the reconstruction of Syria and the development of Aleppo in the new process. In particular, they expressed their desire to realize projects using the power of art and aesthetics in the new Syria.The session ended with the poets reading their poems.

Bülbülzade Foundation and Gloca Global Organization signed a general cooperation protocol in the field of international social and civilization rehabilitation.Gloca is an organization that hosts many non-governmental organizations and business people in Aleppo.  Bülbülzade Foundation, which continues its work on the projects planned to be carried out in the reconstruction process of Syria, has cooperated with the Aleppo-based Gloca Global Organization in this context.Within the framework of the protocol, civil society activities such as library, education, vocational training, culture-arts, sports, health, capacity building, food supply, shelter, hygiene and clean water, technology and media, youth, social service, community center and related projects will be carried out in Turkey and Syria.

A delegation consisting of Turgay Aldemir, President of Bülbülzade Foundation, Mehmet Ali Eminoğlu, President of BEKAM, Mustafa al Hüseyin, President of Gaziantep Syrian Community and members of Bülbülzade Foundation visited Aleppo Governor Azzam al-Garib.During the meeting, detailed information was shared about the Syria-Migration activities carried out by Bülbülzade Foundation in Turkey and Syria. In addition, information was given about the Anatolian Cultural Centers project, joint future meetings, works published in Arabic, films about Syria and projects planned for the reconstruction of Syria.Aleppo Governor Azzam al-Garib stated that the presence of Bülbülzade Foundation in Gaziantep made them feel closer through the brotherhood between Aleppo and Antep. He stated that as the new administration of Syria, they will not forget the aids and support provided in Gaziantep, Turkey and inside Syria so far. He also expressed that they were happy to have the opportunity to meet and work together with the foundation in this process, as well as the realization and good outcome of the revolution process.Turgay Aldemir stated that their aim is to bring together the richness of Syria and the cultural experience of Anatolia and to see the glorious days in these lands again. Turgay Aldemir mentioned the importance of education and cultural activities in order to minimize the problems that arise after wars, and for this reason, Anatolian Cultural Centers have been established in many parts of Syria and a large cultural center is planned in Aleppo in the near future, “You are Moses, we are Aaron. We will always try to be with you. We continue our preparations to work on the grounds that you will provide.”

Bülbülzade Foundation Earthquake Commission organized a celebration program at Nurdağı Public Education Center on the occasion of March 8 “International Women's Day”. Relevant officials from various ministries and organizations such as Nurdağı Municipality, Nurdağı District Directorate of National Education, GASMEK and ÇATOM participated in the program.The program started with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem. Afterwards, Musa Yıldırım, the District Director of National Education, made a speech indicating the meaning and importance of the day. Katre Art and Science Center educators performed a music concert.The celebration program ended with the distribution of flowers to the participating women and a tour of the exhibition area where women presented their handmade products.

The traditional iftar program organized by Bülbülzade Foundation every year during Ramadan was held at the foundation headquarters this year. Gaziantep Deputy Governor Bülent Uygur, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Halil Uğur, Kilis 7 December University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Doğan Karacoşkun, as well as MPs, local government representatives, public managers, academicians, foundation unit and commission members, university students, neighborhood tradesmen and neighbors attended the program.The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Turgay Aldemir, President of the Foundation, delivered the greeting speech during the iftar, emphasizing that Ramadan is a month that renews the human mind and heals the family, society and the country:“Fasting is a common worship of humanity that has existed in all religions. Ramadan is a balancing and regulating month. This spiritual climate is a great opportunity for humanity. At a critical crossroads in history, we have to realize where we stand, who we are and where we belong. If we do not strengthen our roots, unity and values, we may be lost in great disasters. As a foundation, with your support, we are striving to turn this place into a school, a school where every idea can be freely discussed and where women, youth and the whole society can come together and find strength. I thank you all for your participation.”In his speech, Kilis 7 Aralık University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Doğan Karacoşkun emphasized the spiritual atmosphere of the month of Ramadan and stated that the work done is a work of love from the heart:“We live in a shaken world. Every effort put forth in such a difficult period is valuable. However, the main motivation of these works is love. As the ancients used to say, 'There can be no work without love.' If you have a place in your heart for this service, it does not matter how much or how little work is done. What is important is the commitment to this work of the heart. I thank everyone who contributed.”Gaziantep Deputy Governor Bülent Uygur stated that Bülbülzade Foundation is an important organization that serves not only Gaziantep but also a wide geography:“Many people serve at Bülbülzade Foundation. We are happy that we are together during Ramadan. Turkey is going through a transformation process and the new Turkey will be a country where people look at the geography of the heart with beautiful eyes. I would like to thank everyone who brought us together in this program. In the Foundation, dedicated people have come together with the vision of the president. But more importantly, I see a foundation mission that wins hearts, empowers orphans and raises individuals with a wider horizon. We are all together experiencing the blessings of Ramadan and hope to reach Eid.”After the greeting speeches, the program ended with iftar meals. Thank you to everyone who participated.
